Steinway keys — Our wonderful Steinway D

The pride of the Yass Music Club is our wonderful Steinway D Concert Grand Piano. It is used regularly and adds a fantastic dimension to our concerts. It was purchased with the very generous assistance of the Thyne-Reid Foundation as a result of the foresight of our Music Director Ann Holmes. Internationally renowned pianist Evgeny Ukhanov, Ann Holmes, Peter Crisp and Brian Millett travelled to ‘Theme and Variations’, the Steinway dealer in Sydney, to select a suitable piano.

The launch of our Steinway was on 6th June 2009. And the rest, as they say, is history.
